Aaron Crow was traded by the Kansas City Royals to the Miami Marlins on November 28, 2014. In exchange the Royals received Brian Flynn and Reid Redman.
RHP Crow split 2014 between Double A Northwest Arkansas while rehabbing and the Royals. He was 1-0, 3.00 ERA, 1 K, 1.33 WHIP, .300 BAA in 3.0 IP over 2 games at Northwest Arkansas and 6-1, 4.12 ERA, 34 K, 1.29 WHIP, .240 BAA, 3 SV in 59.0 IP over 67 games with the Royals. Over four MLB seasons with the Royals he was 20-11, 3.43 ERA, 208 K, 1.32 WHIP, .243 BAA, 6 SV in 233.2 IP over 254 games. He was originally drafted by the Royals with the 12th pick of the first round in 2009. Crow turned 28 on November 10.
LHP Flynn split 2014 between Triple A New Orleans and the Marlins. He was 8-10, 4.06 ERA, 104 K, 1.57 WHIP, .302 BAA in 139.2 IP over 25 games at New Orleans and 0-1, 9.00 ERA, 6 K, 2.14 WHIP, .375 BAA in 7.0 IP over 2 games with the Marlins. Over two MLB seasons with the Marlins he was 0-3, 8.64 ERA, 21 K, 2.20 WHIP, .371 BAA in 25.0 IP over 6 games. He was originally drafted by the Tigers in the seventh round in 2011 and traded to the Marlins in 2012. Flynn will be 25 on April 19.
RHP Redman split 2014 between Class A Advanced Jupiter and Double A Jacksonville. He was 4-1, 2.22 ERA, 58 K, 1.05 WHIP, .231 BAA , 6 SV in 48.2 IP over 35 games at Jupiter and 1-0, 1.38 ERA, 10 K, 0.85 WHIP, 1.74 BAA, 1 SV in 13.0 IP over 9 games at Jacksonville. He was originally drafted by the Rays in the 23rd round in 2012 as a 2B\SS. He was released by the Rays in May 2013 and signed to the Marlins who converted him to a pitcher. Redman turned 26 on November 22.
