Kyle Wren was traded by the Atlanta Braves to the Milwaukee Brewers on November 14, 2014. In exchange the Braves received. Zach Quintana.
Wren is an outfielder who split 2014 between Class A Advanced Lynchburg and Double A Mississippi. He hit .296/.359/.357 with 0 HR, 27 RBI, 46 R, 33 SB in 76 games at Lynchburg and .283/.338/.376 with 0 HR, 16 RBI, 28 R, 13 SB in 56 games at Mississippi. He was originally drafted by the Braves in the eighth round in 2013. Wren will be 24 on April 23.
RHP Quintana pitched in 2014 at Class A Wisconsin as he was 4-5, 5.72 ERA, 58 K, 1.75 WHIP, .296 BAA, 2 SV in 85.0 IP over 25 games. He was originally drafted by the Brewers in the third round in 2012. Quintana will be 21 on April 15.
