Carlos Corporan was traded by the Houston Astros to the Texas Rangers on January 21, 2015. In exchange the Astros received Akeem Bostick.

RHO Bostick pitched in 2014 at Class A Hickory where he was 5-6, 5.18 ERA, 64 K, 1.37 WHIP, .271 BAA in 92.1 IP over 21 games. He was originally drafted by the Rangers in the second round in 2013. Bostick will be 20 on May 4th.
