Anthony Gose traded to Tigers

Anthony Gose was traded by the Toronto Blue Jays to the Detroit Tigers on November 13, 2014. In exchange the Blue Jays received. Devon Travis.

Gose is an outfielder who split 2014 between Triple A Buffalo and the Blue Jays as he hit .244/.305/.346 with 4 HR, 25 RBI, 29 R, 21 SB in 51 games at Buffalo and .226/.311/.293 with 2 HR, 13 RBI, 31 R, 15 SB in 94 games with the Tigers. Over three MLB seasons with the Blue Jays he hit .234/.301/.332 with 5 HR, 36 RBI, 71 R, 34 SB in 202 games. He was originally drafted by the Phillies in the second round in 2008. Gose will be 25 on August 10.

Travis is a second baseman who played at Double A Erie in 2014 where he hit .298/.358/.460 with 10 HR, 52 RBI, 68 R, 16 SB in 100 games. He was originally drafted by the Tigers in the 13th round in 2012. Travis will be 24 on February 21.
