Marco Hernandez traded to Red Sox

Marco Hernandez was traded by the Chicago Cubs to the Boston Red Sox on December 15, 2014 to complete the earlier Felix Doubront deal. Hernandez is a SS\2B who played in 2014 at Class A Advanced Daytona where he hit .270/.315/.351 with 3 HR, 55 RBI, 61 R, 22 SB in 122 games. He originally signed with the Cubs in 2009 as an amatuer free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Hernandez will be 23 on September 6th.
