Jandel Gustave traded to Royals

Jandel Gustave was traded by the Boston Red Sox to the Kansas City Royals on December 11, 2014 for cash. RHP Gustave pitched in 2014 at Quad Cities where he was 5-5, 5.01 ERA, 82 K, 1.56 WHIP, .289 BAA, 2 SV in 79.0 IP over 23 games. He originally signed with the Astros in 2010 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic and went to the Red Sox in the 2014 Rule 5 draft. Gustave will be 23 on October 12.
