Eury De La Rosa traded to Athletics

Eury De La Rosa was traded by the Arizona Diamondbacks to tje Oakland Athletics on December 18, 2014 for cash. LHP De La Rosa split 2014 between Triple A Reno and the Diamondbacks. He was 2-4, 2.52 ERA, 36 K, 1.35 WHIP, .224 BAA, 2 SV in 39.1 IP over 36 games at Reno and 2-0, 2.95 ERA, 32 K, 1.39 WHIP, .262 BAA in 36.2 IP over 25 games with the Diamondbacks. Over two MLB seasons with the Diamondbacks he was 2-1, 4.21 ERA, 48 K, 1.34 WHIP, .254 BAA in 51.1 IP over 44 games. He originally signed with the Diamondbacks in 2008 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. De La Rosa will be 25 on February 24.
