Rich Hill traded to Angels

Rich Hill was traded by the Boston Red Sox to the Los Angeles Angels on July 1, 2014 in exchange for cash. The LHP was a Triple A Pawtucket prior to the trade where he was 3-3, 3.23 ERA, 45 K, 1.18 WHIP, 2 SV in 39.0 IP over 25 games. Over ten seasons MLB experience including the Indians, Red Sox, Orioles and Cubs he is 24-22, 4.75 ERA, 442 K, 1.39 WHIP in 465.2 IP over 183 games. He was originally drafted by the Cubs in the fourth round in 2002. Hill turned 34 on March 11.
