This is the 13th segment of 2014 as I continue to follow Bubba Starling and Fred Ford as they make their way up the minor league ranks of the Kansas City Royals. Starling starts off 2014 at Class A Advanced Wilmington as the Red Rocks were 33-35 in the first half and are 10-11 in the second half. Ford is repeating time at Class A Lexington as the Legends finished the first half 29-41 and are 9-15 in the second half.
Bubba had three multi hit games while going 8 for 24 with one double, 0 HR, 4 RBI, 0 R, 0 SB in 6 games. For the season he is hitting .213/.294/.335 with 6 HR, 42 RBI, 47 R, 10 SB in 86 games.
Fred had two multi hit games as he hit 5 for 23 with one double, 0 HR, 2 RBI, 3 R, 0 SB in 6 games. For the season he is hitting .216/.300/.365 with 7 HR, 39 RBI, 37 R, 8 SB in 83 games.
