Brock Peterson traded to Dodgers

Brock Peterson was traded by the Washington Nationals to the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 1, 2014 in exchange for cash. Prior to the trade the first baseman was at Triple A Syracuse where he hit .250/.332/.367 with 6 HR, 31 RBI, 37 R, 0 SB in 72 games. He did have a brief MLB stint with the St Louis Cardinals in 2013 when he hit .077/.143/.077 with 0 HR, 2 RBI, 0 R, 0 SB in 23 games. He was originally drafted by the Twins in the 49th round in 2002. Peterson will be 31 on November 20.
