Jimmy Paredes traded to Orioles

Jimmy Paredes  was traded by the Kansas City Royals to the Baltimore Orioles on July 24, 2014 for cash. The OF\3B\2B had split 2014 prior to the trade between Triple A Omaha and the Royals. He hit .305/.332/.457 with 5 HR, 36 RBI, 37 R, 17 SB in 65 games at Omaha and .200/.200/.200 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 3 R, 2 SB in 9 games with the Royals. Over four MLB seasons with the Royals and Astros he has hit .233/.272/.308 with 3 HR, 31 RBI, 34 R, 13 SB in 127 games. He originally signed with the Yankees in 2006 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Paredes will be 26 on November 25.
