Donnie Joseph traded to Marlins
Donnie Joseph was traded by the Kansas City Royals to the Miami Marlins on June 30, 2014 in exchange for cash. The LHP split 2014 prior to the trade between Triple A Omaha and the Royals as he was 1-1, 3.86 ERA, 30 K, 1.79 WHIP, 1 SV in 25.2 IP over 19 games at Omaha and 0-0, 81.00 ERA, 2 K, 9.00 WHIP in 0.2 IP in 1 game with the Royals. Over two seasons MLB experience with the Royals he was 0-0, 8.53 ERA, 9 K, 2.21 WHIP in 6.1 IP over 7 games. He was originally drafted by the Reds in the third round in 2009 and traded to the Royals in 2012. Joseph will be 27 on November 1st.
