Brett Wallace traded to Blue Jays

Brett Wallace was traded by the Baltimore Orioles to the Toronto Blue Jays on July 14, 2014 for cash. Prior to the trade the 1B\3B was at Triple A Norfolk where he hit .265/.329/.389 with 10 HR, 35 RBI, 50 R, 0 SB in 90 games. He does have four seasons MLB experience with the Astros where he hit .242/.313/.391 with 29 HR, 102 RBI, 110 R, 2 SB in 311 games. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals with the 13th pick of the first round in 2008 and was traded to the Athletics in July 2009 and then traded to the Blue Jays in December 2009 before being traded to the Astros in 2010. Wallace will be 28 on August 26.
