Jay Rogers one hitter vs Blue Wahoos 071714

Jay Rogers of the Jacksonville Suns pitched a one hitter in a 2-0 victory over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos in the first game of a double header on July 17, 2014. The Suns also won the second game 4-2. Jacksonville is the Double A team of the Miami Marlins. For the game his line was 7.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K in 84 pitches. The RHP has split 2014 between Triple A New Orleans and Jacksonville. He was 1-1, 6.98 ERA, 13 K, 1.89 WHIP in 29.2 IP over 8 games at New Orleans before being booting down to Jacksonville where he is 5-2, 3.57 ERA, 35 K, 1.24 WHIP in 58.0 IP over 11 games. He was originally drafted by the Marlins in the 36th round in 2010. Rogers turned 26 on May 9th.
