2014 NL All Star Pitchers

Here are the National League pitchers for the 2014 All Star game:

LHP Madison Bumgarner of the San Francisco Giants is in his second All Star game. Prior to the All Star break he was 10-7, 3.47 ERA, 128 K, 1.25 WHIP in 127.0 IP over 20 games. For his six season MLB career he is 59-46, 3.14 ERA, 805 K, 1.16 WHIP in 862.1 IP over 138 games. He was originally drafted by the Giants with the 10th pick of the first round in 2007.

LHP Aroldis Chapman of the Cincinnati Reds is in his third All Star game. Prior to the All Star break he was 0-2, 2.12 ERA, 60 K, 0.78 WHIP, 21 SV in 29.2 IP over 29 games. For his five season MLB career he is 15-15, 2.36 ERA, 384 K, 0.99 WHIP, 98 SV in 228.1 IP over 234 games. He originally signed with the Reds in 2010 as an amateur free agent out of Cuba.

RHP Tyler Clippard of the Washington Nationals is in his second All Star game. Prior to the All Star break he was 6-2, 2.03 ERA, 53 K, 1.23 WHIp, 1 SV in 40.0 IP over 43 games. RHP Adam Wainwright of the St Louis Cardinals is in his third All Star game and the 2014 starter. Prior to the All Star break he was 12-4, 1.83 ERA, 115 K, 0.91 WHIP in 138.0 IP over 19 games. For his nine season MLB career he is 111-61, 2.99 ERA, 1242 K, 1.16 WHIP, 3 SV in 1452.2 IP over 267 games. He was originally drafted by the Braves with the 29th pick of the first round in 2000.
