Frank Thomas was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 2014 along with Bobby Cox, Tom Glavine, Tony La Russa, Greg Maddux and Joe Torre. Thomas was a 1B\DH with 19 seasons MLB experience playing with the Chicago White Sox (1990-2005), Oakland Athletics (2006, 2008) and Toronto Blue Jays (2007-2008). For his MLB career he hit .301/.419/.555 with 521 HR, 1704 RBI, 1494 R, 32 SB in 2322 games.
I believe his three best seasons were 1996 when he hit .349/.459/.626 with 40 HR, 134 RBI, 110 R, 1 SB in 141 games, 2000 when he hit .328/.436/.625 with 43 HR, 143 RBI, 115 R, 1 SB in 159 games and 1994 when he hit .353/.487/.729 with 38 HR, 101 RBI, 106 R, 2 SB in 113 games.
Thomas twice won the American League MVP: 1993 when he hit .317/.426/.607 with 41 HR, 128 RBI, 106 R, 4 SB in 153 games and 1994. He also finished second in AL MVP voting in 2000 and third in 1991 and 1997.
Thomas was the American League batting champ in 1997 (.347). He led the AL in runs in 1994. He led the AL in doubles in 1992 (46).
He was an All-Star five times (1993-1997).
