Bryan Morris traded to Marlins

Bryan Morris was traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Miami Marlins on June 1, 2014 in exchange for the 39th overall pick in the 2014 MLB draft. Prior to the trade the RHP was 4-0, 3.80 ERA, 14 K, 1.56 WHIP in 23.2 IP over 21 games with the Pirates. Over his three season MLB career he is 11-7, 2.82 ERA, 78 K, 1.27 WHIP in 118.0 IP over 101 games. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers with the 26th pick of the first round in 2006 and was traded to the Pirates in 2008. Morris turned 27 on March 28.
