Darwin Barney traded to Dodgers

Darwin Barney was traded by the Chicago Cubs along with cash to the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 28, 2014 for a player to be name later. This season the 2B\SS had hit .230/.265/.328 with 2 HR, 16 RBI, 18 R, 1 SB in 72 games with the Cubs. He has five seasons MLB experience with the Cubs and has hit .244/.290/.335 with 18 HR, 146 RBI, 218 R, 20 SB in 542 games. He was originally drafted by the Cubs in the fourth round in 2007. Barney will be 29 on November 8th.
