Howie Kendrick was traded by the Los Angeles Angels to the Los Angeles Dodgers on December 11, 2014. In exchange the Angels received Andrew Heaney.
Kendrick is a 2B\1B who in 2014 hit .293/.347/.397 with 7 HR, 75 RBI, 85 R, 14 SB in 157 games with the Angels. Over nine MLB seasons with the Angels he hit .292/.332/.424 with 78 HR, 501 RBI, 534 R, 95 SB in 1081 games. He was originally drafted by the Angels in the 10th round in 2002. Kendrick will be 32 on July 12.
LHP Heaney had been traded to the Dodgers earlier in the day.
