Adam Lind traded to Brewers

Adam Lind was traded by the Toronto Blue Jays to the Milwaukee Brewers on November 1, 2014. in exchange the Blue Jays received. Marco Estrada.

1B\OF\DH Lind split 2014 between Rookie Gulf Coast and Class A Advanced Dunedin while rehabbing and with the Blue Jays. He hit 1.000/1.000/2.000 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 1 R, 0 SB in 1 game at Gulf Coast, .286/.357/.429 with 0 HR, 1 RBI, 5 R, 0 SB in 4 games at Dunedin and .321/.381/.479 with 6 HR, 40 RBI, 38 R, 0 SB in 96 games with the Blue Jays. Over nine MLB seasons with the Blue Jays he hit .273/.327/.466 with 146 HR, 519 RBI, 429 R, 6 SB in 953 games. He was originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the third round in 2004. Lind will be 32 on July 17.

RHP Estrada pitched in 2014 with the Brewers and was 7-6, 4.36 ERA, 127 K, 1.20 WHIP, .241 BAA in 150.2 IP over 39 games. Over seven MLB seasons with the Brewers and Nationals he is 23-26, 4.23 ERA, 508 K, 1.19 WHIP, .242 BAA in 541.0 IP over 154 games. He was originally drafted by the Nationals in the sixth round in 2005. Estrada will be 32 on July 5th.
