Jason Frasor traded to Royals

Jason Frasor was traded by the Texas Rangers to the Kansas City Royals on July 16, 2014. In exchange the Rangers received Spencer Patton.

RHP Frasor was 1-1, 3.34 ERA, 30 K, 1.38 WHIP in 29.2 IP over 38 games with the Rangers in 2014. Over his 11 season MLB career with the Rangers, Blue Jays, and White Sox he is 31-35, 3.65 ERA, 577 K, 1.31 WHIP, 36 SV in 601.1 IP over 625 games. He was originally drafted by the Tigers in the 33rd round in 1999. Frasor will be 37 on August 9th.

RHP Patton prior to the trade was at Triple A Omaha where he was 4-3, 4.08 ERA, 60 K, 1.04 WHIP, 14 SV in 46.1 IP over 34 games. He was originally drafted by the Royals in the 24th round in 2011. Patton turned 26 on February 20.
