The Los Angeles Dodgers selected the contracts of Pedro Baez, Yimi Garcia and Jarret Martin from Double A Chattanooga and placed them on the Dodgers 40 man roster. The move was made to protect the players from the upcoming Rule 5 draft on December 12. It is interesting to see which players an organization values as it moves the draft eligible players under the protective roster umbrella.
