Colt Hynes was traded from the San Diego Padres to the Cleveland Indians on October 31, 2013. The LHP split 2013 between Double A San Antonio, Triple A Tucson and the Padres. He was originally drafted by the Padres in the 31st round in 2007. Hynes turned 28 on June 28.
