The Tampa Bay Rays selected the contracts of Jesse Hahn from Class A Advanced Charlotte and Vince Belnome, C. J. Riefenhauser and Kirby Yates from Triple A Durham and placed them on the Rays 40 man roster. The move was made to protect the players from the upcoming Rule 5 draft on December 12.
