2013 Where are they now 2013 MLB draft top 10

The 2013 season is behind us and I'm checking how the top 10 players of this season's 2013 draft did this season. Traditionally players drafted out of college advance faster than those drafted out of high school and pitchers usually advance faster than position players. Some players might also be traded to help their team get an established player that can help their team improve immediately.

The first player drafted in 2013 was RHP Mark Appel by the Houston Astros out Stanford. He split 2013 between Class A Tri-City and Class A Quad Cities. The Colorado Rockies drafted RHP Jonathan Gray third out of Oklahoma. He split 2013 between Rookie Grand Junction and Class A Advanced Modesto. He was 0-0, 4.05 ERA, 15 K, 1.28 WHIP in 13.1 IP over 4 games at Grand Junction and was 4-0, 0.75 ERA, 36 K, 0.67 WHIP in 24.0 IP over 5 games at Modesto.

The Minnesota Twins drafted RHP Kohl Stewart fourth out of St Pius X High School in Houston, TX. He split 2013 between Rookie Gulf Coast and Rookie Elizabethton. He was 0-0, 1.69 ERA, 16 K, 0.94 WHIP in 16.0 IP over 6 games at Gulf Coast and was 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 8 K, 0.50 WHIP in 4.0 IP in 1 game at Elizabethton.

The Cleveland Indians drafted outfielder Clint Frazier fifth out of Loganville High School in Loganville, GA. He played in 2013 at Rookie Arizona. He hit .297/.362/.506 with 5 HR, 28 RBI, 32 R, 3 SB in 44 games at Arizona.

The Miami Marlins drafted third baseman Colin Moran sixth out of North Carolina. He played in 2013 at Class A Greensboro. He hit .299/.354/.442 with 4 HR, 23 RBI, 19 R, 1 SB in 42 games.

The Boston Red Sox drafted LHP Trey Ball seventh out of New Castle Chrysler High School in New Castle, IN. He pitched in 2013 at Rookie Gulf Coast. He was 0-1, 6.43 ERA, 5 K, 2.29 WHIP in 7.0 IP over 5 games.

The Kansas City Royals drafted shortstop Hunter Dozier eighth out of Stephen F Austin State University. He split 2013 between Rookie Idaho Falls and Class A Lexington. The Toronto Blue Jays drafted RHP Phillip Bickford tenth out of Oaks Christian High School in Westlake, CA. He did not sign with the Blue Jays and enrolled to play at Cal State Fullerton.
