The Miami Marlins selected the contracts of Angel Sanchez and Jose Urena from Class A Advanced Jupiter and Grant Dayton, Michael Brady, J. T. Realmuto and Brent Keys from Double A Jacksonville and placed them on the Marlins 40 man roster. The move was made to protect the players from the upcoming Rule 5 draft on December 12.
