2013 Where are they now 2007 MLB draft picks 11 to 20

The 2013 season is behind us and I'm checking how picks 11 to 20 of the 2007 draft did this season. Traditionally players drafted out of college advance faster than those drafted out of high school and pitchers usually advance faster than position players. Some players might also be traded to help their team get an established player that can help their team improve immediately.

The Seattle Mariners drafted RHP Phillippe Aumont 11th out of Ecole Du Versant in Quebec. He was traded to the Phillies in 2009. 
He split 2013 between Triple A Lehigh Valley and the Phillies. He was 0-2, 4.04 ERA, 42 K, 1.88 WHIP, 2 SV in 35.2 IP over 32 games at Lehigh Valley and was 1-3, 4.19 ERA, 19 K, 1.91 WHIP in 19.1 IP over 22 games with the Phillies.

The Florida Marlins drafted third baseman Matt Dominguez 12th out of Chatsworth High School in Chatsworth, CA. He was traded to the Astros in 2012. He played in 2013 with the Astros. He hit .241/.286/.403 with 21 HR, 77 RBI, 56 R, 0 SB in 152 games.

The Cleveland Indians drafted first baseman Beau Mills 13th out of Lewis-Clark State College. He was traded to the Reds in 2012. He retired from baseball before the 2013 season.

The Atlanta Braves drafted outfielder Jason Heyward 14th out of Henry County High School in Georgia. He split 2013 between Triple A Gwinnett and the Braves. He hit .300/.423/.350 with 0 HR, 6 RBI, 1 R, 1 SB in 6 games at Gwinnett and hit .254/.349/.427 with 14 HR, 38 RBI, 67 R, 2 SB in 104 games with the Braves.

The Cincinnati Reds drafted catcher Devin Mesoraco 15th out of Punxsutawney Area High School in Punxsutawney, PA  He played in 2013 with the Reds. He hit .238/.287/.362 with 9 HR, 42 RBI, 31 R, 0 SB in 103 games.

The Toronto Blue Jays drafted shortstop Kevin Ahrens 16th out of Memorial High School in Houston, TX. He played in 2013 at Double A New Hampshire. He hit .218/.285/.340 with 4 HR, 29 RBI, 20 R, 0 SB in 73 games.

The Texas Rangers drafted RHP Blake Beavan 17th out of Irving High School in Texas. He was traded to the Mariners in 2010. He split 2013 between Triple A Tacoma and the Mariners. He was 6-6, 5.55 ERA, 47 K, 1.52 WHIP in 94.0 IP over 16 games at Tacoma and was 0-2, 6.13 ERA, 27 K, 1.36 WHIP in 39.2 IP over 12 games with the Mariners.

The St Louis Cardinals drafted shortstop Peter Kozma 18th out of Owasso High School in Owasso, OK. He played in 2013 with the Cardinals. He hit .217/.275/.273 with 1 HR, 35 RBI, 44 R, 3 SB in 143 games.

The Philadelphia Phillies drafted LHP Joe Savery 19th out of Rice. He split 2013 season between Rookie Gulf Coast, Class Advanced Clearwater, Triple A Lehigh Valley and Phillies. He was 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 K, 0.00 WHIP in 1.0 IP in 1 game at Gulf Coast, was 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 K, 0.00 WHIP in 1.0 IP in 1 games at Clearwater, was 3-1, 3.80 ERA, 29 K, 1.14 WHIP in 23.2 IP over 20 games at Lehigh Valley and was 2-0, 3.15 ERA, 14 K, 1.30 WHIP in 20.0 IP over 18 games with the Phillies.

The Los Angeles Dodgers drafted RHP Chris Withrow 20th out of Midland High School in Midland, TX. He split 2013 between Triple A Albuquerque and the Dodgers. He was 4-0, 1.71 ERA, 33 K, 1.44 WHIP in 26.1 IP over 25 games at Albuquerque and was 3-0, 2.60 ERA, 43 K, 0.95 WHIP, 1 SV in 34.2 IP over 26 games with the Dodgers.
