Ron Santo was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 2012 along with Barry Larkin. Santo was a third baseman with 15 seasons MLB experience playing with the Chicago Cubs (1960-1973) and Chicago White Sox (1974). For his MLB career he hit .277/.362/.464 with 342 HR, 1331 RBI, 1138 R, 35 SB in 2243 games.
I believe his three best seasons were 1964 when he hit .313/.398/.564 with 30 HR, 114 RBI, 94 R, 3 SB in 161 games, 1967 when he hit .300/.395/.512 with 31 HR, 98 RBI, 107 R, 1 SB in 161 games and 1969 when he hit .289/.384/.485 with 29 HR, 123 RBI, 97 R, 1 SB in 160 games.
Santo led the National League in triples in 1964 (13).
He was an All Star nine times (1963-1966, 1968-1969, 1971-1973). He won five Gold Gloves (1964-1968).
