Ernest (Jud) Wilson was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 2006 along with Raymond Brown, Willard Brown, Andy Cooper, Franklin Grant, Pete Hill, Biz Mackey, Effa Manley, Jose Mendez, Alex Pompez, Cum Posey, Louis Santop, Bruce Sutter, Mule Suttles, Ben Taylor, Cristobal Torriente, Solomon White and JL Wilkinson. Wilson was inducted by the Negro League Committee. He was a third baseman who played for the Baltimore Black Sox (1922-1930), Homestead Grays (1931-1932, 1940-1945), Pittsburgh Crawfords (1932) and Philadelphia Stars (1933-1939). While incomplete the stats show in league he hit .351/.421/.507 with 71 HR, 485 RBI, 602 R, 92 SB. Wilson won the Negro World Series Championship with the Grays in 1943 and 1944.
