Ian Krol traded to Nationals

Ian Krol was traded to the Washington Nationals on March 20, 2013 to complete an earlier deal. Krol is a LHP who split 2012 between Class A Advanced Stockton and Double A Midland in the Oakland Athletics organization. He was 1-7 with a 5.21 ERA, 79 K, 1.38 WHIP in 86.1 IP over 21 games at Stockton and was 1-2 with a 5.06 ERA, 10 K, 1.22 WHIP in 10.2 IP over 8 games at Midland. He was originally drafted by the Athletics in the seventh round in 2009. Krol will be 22 on May 9th.
