Roberto Alomar was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 2011 along with Bert Blyleven and Pat Gillick. Alomar was a second baseman with 17 seasons MLB experience playing with the San Diego Padres (1988-1990), Toronto Blue Jays (1991-1995), Baltimore Orioles (1996-1998), Cleveland Indians (1999-2001), New York Mets (2002-2003), Chicago White Sox (2003, 2004) and Arizona Diamondbacks (2004). For his MLB career he hit .300/.371/.443 with 210 HR, 1134 RBI, 1580 R, 474 SB in 2379 games.
I believe his three best seasons were 1999 when he hit .323/.422/.533 with 24 HR, 120 RBI, 138 R, 37 SB in 159 games, 2001 when he hit .336/.415/.541 with 20 HR, 100 RBI, 113 R, 30 SB in 157 games and 1996 when he hit .328/.411/.527 with 22 HR, 94 RBI, 132 R, 17 SB in 153 games. He was an All Star 12 times (1990-2001).
Alomar led the American League in runs in 1999.
He won ten Gold Gloves (1991-1996, 1998-2001). Alomar won the World Series Championship with the Blue Jays in 1992 and 1993.
