Andre Dawson MLB Hall of Fame 2010

Andre N Dawson was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 2010 along with Doug Harvey and Whitey Herzog. Dawson was a an outfielder with 21 seasons MLB experience playing with the Montreal Expos (1976-1986), Chicago Cubs (1987-1992), Boston Red Sox (1993-1994) and Florida Marlins (1995-1996). For his MLB career he hit .279/.323/.482 with 438 HR, 1591 RBI, 1373 R, 314 SB in 2627 games. 

I believe his three best seasons were 1987 when he hit .287/.328/.568 with 49 HR, 137 RBI, 90 R, 11 SB in 153 games, 1983 when he hit .299/.338/.539 with 32 HR, 113 RBI, 104 R, 25 SB in 159 games and 1982 when he hit .301/.343/.498 with 23 HR, 83 RBI, 107 R, 39 SB in 148 games. 

Dawson won the National League Rookie of the Year in 1977 when he hit .282/.326/.474 with 19 HR, 65 RBI, 64 R, 21 SB in 139 games.

Dawson led the National League in home runs and RBI in 1987.

He was an All Star eight times (1981-1983, 1987-1991). He won eight Gold Gloves (1980-1985, 1987-1988). Dawson won the National League MVP in 1987 and was second in NL MVP voting in 1981 and 1983.
