Andy Cooper was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 2006 along with Raymond Brown, Willard Brown, Franklin Grant, Pete Hill, Biz Mackey, Effa Manley, Jose Mendez, Alex Pompez, Cum Posey, Louis Santop, Bruce Sutter, Mule Suttles, Ben Taylor, Cristobal Torriente, Solomon White, JL Wilkinson and Jud Wilson. Cooper was inducted by the Negro League Committee. He was a LHP who pitched for the Detroit Stars (1920-1927) and Kansas City Monarchs (1928-1939). While incomplete the stats show in league he was 116-57 with a 3.24 ERA, 578 K, 1.13 WHIP, 29 SV. He had the Negro League career record for saves.
