Mike Kvasnicka traded to Twins

Mike Kvasnicka was traded by the Houston Astros to the Minnesota Twins on March 25, 2013. In exchange the Astros received Gonzalo Sanudo.

Kvasnicka is an OF\C who played in 2012 at Class A Lexington. He hit .232/.275/.412 with 15 HR, 53 RBI, 46 R, 1 SB in 88 games. He was originally drafted by the Astros with the 33rd pick of the first round in 2010. Kvasnicka turned 24 on December 7th.

RHP Sanudo pitched 2012 at Rookie Gulf Coast.  He was 2-0, 2.00 ERA, 33 K, 1.00 WHIP, 4 SV in 36.0 IP over 15 games. He was originally signed by the Twins as an amateur free agent in 2011 out of Mexico. Sanudo turned 21 on January 10.
