Atanasio (Tony) Perez Rigal was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 2000 along with Sparky Anderson, Carlton Fisk, Bid McPhee and Turkey Stearnes. Perez was a 1B\3B with 23 seasons MLB experience playing with the Cincinnati Reds (1964-1976, 1984-1986), Montreal Expos (1977-1979) and Boston Red Sox (1980-1982). For his MLB career he hit .279/.341/.463 with 379 HR, 1652 RBI, 1272 R, 49 SB in 2777 games.
I believe his three best seasons were 1970 when he hit .317/.401/.589 with 40 HR, 129 RBI, 107 R, 8 SB in 158 games, 1969 when he hit .294/.357/.526 with 37 HR, 122 RBI, 103 R, 4 SB in 160 games and 1975 when he hit .282/.350/.466 with 20 HR, 109 RBI, 74 R, 1 SB in 137 games.
He was an All Star seven times (1967-1970, 1974-1976). Perez won the World Series championship with the Reds in 1975 and 1976.
He also served as manager for the Reds (1993) with a 20-24 record and Florida Marlins (2001) with a 54-60 record.
