Reginald M Jackson was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame as the sole member of the class of 1993. Jackson was an outfielder with 21 seasons MLB experience playing with the Kansas City Athletics (1967), Oakland Athletics (1968-1975, 1987), Baltimore Orioles (1976), New York Yankees (1977-1981) and California Angels (1982-1986). For his MLB career he hit .262/.356/.490 with 563 HR, 1702 RBI, 1551 R, 228 SB in 2820 games.
I believe his three best seasons were 1969 when he hit .275/.410/.608 with 47 HR, 118 RBI, 123 R, 13 SB in 152 games, 1973 when he hit .293/.383/.531 with 32 HR, 117 RBI, 99 R, 22 SB in 151 games and 1980 when he hit .300/.398/.597 with 41 HR, 111 RBI, 94 R, 1 SB in 143 games.
Jackson led the American League in home runs in 1973, 1975 (36), 1980 and 1982 (39). He led the AL in RBI in 1973.
He was an All Star 14 times (1969, 1971-1975, 1978-1984). Jackson won the American League MVP in 1973 and was second in MVP voting in 1980. He won the World Series Championship with the Athletics in 1972, 1973 and 1974 and with the Yankees in 1977 and 1978.
