Raymond E Dandridge was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 1987 along with Catfish Hunter and Billy Williams. Dandridge was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Negro League Committee. He was a third baseman who played with the Detroit Stars (1933), Nashville Elite Giants (1933), Newark Dodgers (1934-1935) and Newark Eagles (1936-1939, 1942, 1944). While incomplete his stats show in league he hit .315/.350/.400 with 3 HR, 53 RBI, 105 R, 15 SB.
He also played ten seasons in the Mexican League and later playing for the Triple A minor league teams Minneapolis Millers (1949-1952), Sacramento Solons (1953) and Oakland Oaks (1954). He was the American Association Rookie of the Year in 1949 and MVP in 1950.
