Louis C Brock was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 1985 along with Enos Slaughter, Arky Vaughn and Hoyt Wilhelm. Brock was an outfielder with 19 seasons MLB experience playing with the Chicago Cubs (1961-1964) and St Louis Cardinals (1964-1979). For his MLB career he hit .293/.343/.410 with 149 HR, 900 RBI, 1610 R, 938 SB in 2616 games.
I believe his three best seasons were 1967 when he hit .299/.327/.472 with 21 HR, 76 RBI, 113 R, 52 SB in 159 games, 1971 when he hit .313/.385/.425 with 7 HR, 61 RBI, 126 R, 64 SB in 157 games and 1965 when he hit .288/.345/.445 with 16 HR, 69 RBI, 107 R, 63 SB in 155 games.
Brock led the National League in doubles in 1968 (46). He led the NL in triples in 1968 (14). He led the NL in runs in 1967 and 1971. He led the NL in steals eight times in 1966 (74), 1967, 1968 (62). 1969 (53), 1971, 1972 (63), 1973 (70) and 1974 (118).
He was an All Star six times (1967, 1971-1972, 1974-1975, 1979). He was second in NL MVP voting in 1974. Brock twice won the World Series Championship with the Cardinals in 1964 and 1967.
