Harmon C Killebrew was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 1984 along with Luis Aparicio, Don Drysdale, Richard Ferrell and Pee Wee Reese. Killebrew was a 3B\OF with 22 seasons MLB experience playing with the Washington Senators (1954-1960), Minnesota Twins (1961-1974) and Kansas City Royals (1975). For his MLB career he hit .256/.376/.509 with 573 HR, 1584 RBI, 1283 R, 19 SB in 2435 games.
I believe his three best seasons were 1969 when he hit .276/.427/.584 with 49 RBI, 140 RBI, 106 R, 8 SB in 162 games, 1961 when he hit .288/.405/.606 with 46 HR, 122 RBI, 94 R, 1 SB in 150 games and 1967 when he hit .269/.408/.558 with 44 HR, 113 RBI, 105 R, 1 SB in 163 games.
Killebrew led the American League in home runs six times in 1959 (42), 1962 (48), 1963 (45), 1964 (49), 1967 and 1969. He led the AL in RBI in 1962, 1969 and 1971 (119).
He was an All Star 13 times (1959, 1961, 1963-1971). Killebrew won the American League MVP in 1969 and was second in AL MVP voting in 1967.
