Biz Mackey MLB Hall of Fame 2006

James R (Biz) Mackey was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame class of 2006 along with Raymond Brown, Willard Brown, Andy Cooper, Franklin Grant, Pete Hill, Effa Manley, Jose Mendez, Alex Pompez, Cum Posey, Louis Santop, Bruce Sutter, Mule Suttles, Ben Taylor, Cristobal Torriente, Solomon White, JL Wilkinson and Jud Wilson. Mackey was inducted by the Negro League Committee. He was a catcher who played with the Indianapolis ABCs (1920-1922), Hilldale Daisies (1923-1931), Homestead Grays (1927), Baltimore Black Sox (1928, 1930), Philadelphia Stars (1933-1935), Washington Elite Giants (1936-1937), Baltimore Elite Giants (1938-1939) and Newark Eagles (1939-1941, 1945-1947). While incomplete the stats show in league he hit .329/.383/.465 with 59 HR, 433 RBI, 503 R, 135 SB. Mackey won the Negro League World Series with Hilldale in 1925.
