The 2013 season is behind us and I'm checking how picks 51 to 64 (which closed out the first round) of the 2007 draft did this season. Traditionally players drafted out of college advance faster than those drafted out of high school and pitchers usually advance faster than position players. Some players might also be traded to help their team get an established player that can help their team improve immediately.

The Toronto Blue Jays drafted RHP Trystan Magnuson 56th out of Louisville. He was traded to the Athletics in 2010. He was traded back to the Blue Jays in November 2011.
