2013 Where are they now 2013 MLB draft picks 21 to 33

The 2013 season is behind us and I'm checking how picks 21 to 31 of the 2013 draft did this season. Traditionally players drafted out of college advance faster than those drafted out of high school and pitchers usually advance faster than position players. Some players might also be traded to help their team get an established player that can help their team improve immediately.

The Tampa Bay Rays drafted catcher Nick Ciuffo 21st out of Lexington High School in Lexington, SC. He played in 2013 at Rookie Gulf Coast. He hit .258/.296/.308 with 0 HR, 25 RBI, 11 R, 0 SB in 43 games. 

The Baltimore Orioles drafted RHP Hunter Harvey 22nd out of Bandy High School in Catawba, NC. He split 2013 between Rookie Gulf Coast and Class A Aberdeen. He was 0-0, 1.35 ERA, 18 K, 0.90 WHIP in 13.1 IP over 5 games at Gulf Coast and was 0-1, 2.25 ERA, 15 K, 1.25 WHIP in 12.0 IP over 3 games at Aberdeen.

The Texas Rangers drafted RHP Alex Gonzalez 23rd out of Oral Roberts. He split 2013 between Class A Spokane and Class A Advanced Myrtle Beach. He was 0-4, 4.56 ERA, 20 K, 1.56 WHIP in 23.2 IP over 9 games at Spokane and was 0-0, 2.84 ERA, 15 K, 1.26 WHIP in 19.0 IP over 5 games at Myrtle Beach.

The Oakland Athletics drafted outfielder Billy McKinney 24th out Plano West Senior High School in Plano, TX. He split 2013 between Rookie Arizona and Class A Vermont. He hit .320/.383/.414 with 2 HR, 20 RBI, 31 R, 7 SB in 46 games at Arizona and hit .353/.405/.559 with 1 HR, 6 RBI, 5 R, 1 SB in 9 games at Vermont.

The San Francisco Giants drafted shortstop Christian Arroyo 25th out of Hernando High School in Brooksville, FL. He played in 2013 at Rookie Arizona. He hit .326/.388/.511 with 2 HR, 39 RBI, 47 R, 3 SB in 45 games.

The New York Yankees drafted third baseman Eric Jagielo 26th out of Notre Dame. He split 2013 between Rookie Gulf Coast Yankees 1, Rookie Gulf Coast Yankees 2 and Class A Staten Island. He hit .000/.333/.000 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 1 R, 0 SB in 1 game at Yankees 1, hit .286/.375/.571 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 2 R, 0 SB in 3 games at Yankees 2 and hit .266/.376/.451 with 6 HR, 27 RBI, 19 R, 0 SB in 51 games at Staten Island.

The Cincinnati Reds drafted outfielder Phillip Ervin 27th out of Samford University. He split 2013 between Rookie Billings and Class A Dayton. He hit .326/.416/.597 with 8 HR, 29 RBI, 27 R, 12 SB in 34 games at Billings and hit .349/.451/.465 with 1 HR, 6 RBI, 7 R, 2 SB in 12 games at Dayton.

The St Louis Cardinals drafted LHP Rob Kaminsky 28th out of St Joseph Regional School in Montvale, NJ. He pitched in 2013 at Rookie Gulf Coast. He was 0-3, 3.68 ERA, 28 K, 1.46 WHIP in 22.0 IP over 8 games.

The Tampa Bay Rays drafted RHP Ryne Stanek 29th out of Arkansas. He did not play in 2013

The Texas Rangers drafted shortstop Travis Demeritte 30th out of Winder Barrow High School in Winder, GA. He played in 2013 at Rookie Arizona. He hit .285/.411/.444 with 4 HR, 20 RBI, 31 R, 5 SB in 39 games. 

The Atlanta Braves drafted RHP Jason Hursh 31st out of Oklahoma State. He pitched in 2013 at Class A Rome. He was 1-1, 0.67 ERA, 15 K, 1.11 WHIP in 27.0 IP over 9 games.

The New York Yankees drafted outfielder Aaron Judge 32nd out of Fresno State. He did not play in 2013.
