2013 Where are they now 2010 MLB draft picks 33 to 40

The 2013 season is behind us and I'm checking how picks 33 to 40 of the 2010 draft did this season. Traditionally players drafted out of college advance faster than those drafted out of high school and pitchers usually advance faster than position players. Some players might also be traded to help their team get an established player that can help their team improve immediately.

The Houston Astros drafted catcher Mike Kvasnicka 33rd out of Minnesota. He played in 2013 at Class A Advanced Fort Myers. He hit .282/.341/.460 with 9 HR, 40 RBI, 35 R, 4 SB in 69 games. 

The Toronto Blue Jays drafted RHP Aaron Sanchez 34th out of Barstow High School in Barstow, CA. He pitched in 2013 at Class A Advanced Dunedin. He was 4-5, 3.34 ERA, 75 K, 1.19 WHIP in 86.1 IP over 22 games.

The Atlanta Braves drafted shortstop Matt Lipka 35th out of McKinney High School in McKinney, TX. He played in 2013 at Class A Advanced Lynchburg. He hit .251/.305/.362 with 5 HR, 40 RBI, 76 R, 37 SB in 131 games.

The Boston Red Sox drafted outfielder Bryce Brentz 36th out of Middle Tennessee State. He split 2013 betweenRookie Gulf Coast while rehabbing and Triple A Pawtucket. He hit .235/.316/.706 with 2 HR, 8 RBI, 3 R, 0 SB in 6 games at Gulf Coast and hit .264/.312/.475 with 17 HR, 56 RBI, 36 R, 1 SB in 82 games at Pawtucket.

The Los Angeles Angels drafted shortstop Taylor Lindsey 37th out of Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, AZ. He played in 2013 at Double A Arkansas. He hit .274/.339/.441 with 17 HR, 56 RBI, 68 R, 4 SB in 134 games.

The Toronto Blue Jays drafted RHP Noah Syndergaard 38th out of Legacy High School in Mansfield, TX. He was traded to the Mets in 2012. He split 2013 between Class A Advanced St Lucie and Double A Binghamton. He was 3-3, 3.11 ERA, 64 K, 1.21 WHIP in 63.2 IP over 12 games at St Lucie and was 6-1, 3.00 ERA. 69 K, 1.07 WHIP in 54.0 IP over 11 games at Binghamton.

The Boston Red Sox drafted RHP Anthony Ranaudo 39th out of Louisiana State. He split 2013 between Double A Portland and Triple A Pawtucket. He was 8-4, 2.95 ERA, 106 K, 1.09 WHIP in 109.2 IP over 19 games at Portland and was 3-1, 2.97 ERA, 21 K, 1.29 WHIP in 30.1 IP over 6 games at Pawtucket.

The Los Angeles Angels drafted outfielder Ryan Bolden 40th out of Madison Central High School in Madison, MS. He played in 2013 at Rookie Orem. He hit .130/.259/.261 with 1 HR, 1 RBI, 1 R, 2 SB in 7 games before he was released and he then retired.
