Devon Travis April 2015 AL Rookie of the Month

Devon Travis of the Toronto Blue Jays was selected the American League Rookie of the Month for April 2015. During the month the second baseman hit 26 for 80, .325/.393/.625 with 6 HR, 19 RBI, 17 R, 1 SB and a 1.018 OPS in 23 games. This season he is hitting .309/.380/.598 with 7 HR, 23 RBI, 20 R, 1 SB in 28 games. He was originally drafted by the Tigers in the 13th round in 2012 and was traded to the Blue Jays in 2014. Travis turned 24 on February 21.
