Mark Hendrickson retires
Mark Hendrickson announced his retirement from playing baseball in April 2015. The LHP had 10 seasons MLB experience playing with the Toronto Blue Jays (2002-2003) Tampa Bay Devil Rays (2004-2006), Los Angeles Dodgers (2006-2007), Florida Marlins (2008) and Baltimore Orioles (2009-2011). He last pitched in 2013 at Triple A Norfolk. For his MLB career he was 58-74, 5.03 ERA, 666 K, 1.46 WHIP, .291 BAA, 1 SV in 1169.0 IP over 328 games with 166 GS. Hendrickson also played five seasons in the NBA (1996-2000) to become one of only 12 players to play in both the NBA and MLB. He was originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the 20th round in 1997. Hendrickson was 40 at the time of his retirement.
