Mark Teahen retires
Mark Teahen announced his retirement from playing baseball in December 2014. The 3B\1B\OF had seven seasons MLB experience playing with the Kansas City Royals (2005-2009), Chicago White Sox (2010-2011) and Toronto Blue Jays (2011). He last played at Triple A Round Rock of the Rangers in 2013. For his MLB career he hit .264/.327/.409 with 67 HR, 332 RBI, 388 R, 45 SB in 831 games. He was originally drafted by the Athletics with the 39th pick of the first round in 2002. Teahen was 33 at the time of his retirement.
