Juan Uribe was traded by the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Atlanta Braves on May 27, 2015 along with Chris Withrow. The Dodgers in exchange received Alberto Callaspo, Eric Stults, Ian Thomas and Juan Jaime.

Over 10 MLB seasons with the Dodgers, Braves, Athletics, Angels, Royals and Diamondbacks he has hit .265/.328/.366 with 52 HR, 362 RBI, 383 R, 22 SB in 1034 games. He originally signed with the Angels in 2001 as an amateur free agent out of Venezuela. Callaspo turned 32 on April 19.
