For his MLB career he hit .234/.301/.398 with 134 HR, 491 RBI, 389 R, 6 SB in 1090 games. His caught stealing rate was 25%. He was originally drafted by the Astros in the seventh round in 1998. Buck was 34 at the time of his retirement.
