Adam Dunn retires
Adam Dunn announced his retirement from playing baseball in January 2015. The OF\1B\DH had 14 seasons MLB experience playing with the Cincinnati Reds (2001-2008), Arizona Diamondbacks (2008), Washington Nationals (2009-2010), Chicago White Sox (2011-2014) and Oakland Athletics (2014). For 2014 he hit .220/.340/.433 with 20 HR, 54 RBI, 43 R, 1 SB in 106 games with the White Sox and .212/.316/.318 with 2 HR, 10 RBI, 6 R, 0 SB in 25 games with the Athletics. For his MLB career he hit .237/.364/.490 with 462 HR, 1168 RBI, 1097 R, 63 SB in 2001 games. Dunn was twice and All-Star (2002, 2012). He was originally drafted by the Reds in the second round in 1998. Dunn was 35 at the time of his retirement.
