Josh Hamilton traded to Rangers
Josh Hamilton was traded by the Los Angeles Angels to the Texas Rangers on April 27, 2015 with cash for a PTBNL. The outfielder in 2014 hit .263/.331/.414 with 10 HR, 44 RBI, 43 R, 3 SB in 89 games with the Angels. Over eight MLB seasons with the Angels, Rangers and Reds he has hit .292/.352/.519 with 192 HR, 676 RBI, 587 R, 50 SB in 977 games. Hamilton won the American League MVP in 2010 with the Rangers. He was originally drafted by the Devil Rays with the first overall pick in 1999. Hamilton will be 34 on May 21.
